Highlights:
Depart between 1:30 AM and 2:30 AM (depending on the location of your hotel). Then, journey towards the active volcano near the village of Kintamani.
Upon arrival, receive a short introduction and safety briefing from your guide. Savor the pristine night sky away from the city lights as you hike. After a 2-hour trek, you’ll then be rewarded at the top with sunrise views over the natural landscape and ocean horizon. And even better, you get to enjoy breakfast at the volcano’s summit. From the top, experience a scenic sunrise view and the green caldera around the volcano. Witness a thick blanket of darkness be replaced by glistening orange and gold rays, bursting from the silhouette of Mount Agung with the glassy untouched sheen of Lake Batur.
On the way down, you’ll enjoy more vistas, such as Lake Batur, an enormous volcanic crater lake. You’ll also have the opportunity to stop at Batur Natural Hot Spring to soothe away your aches and pains at a natural hot spring. Get a chance to enjoy the Spa.
